Aim of all my interventions is to help you become mobile again - and keep you that way. The core treatment I offer is the Bowen Technique, but I am also proficient in Reiki and Bach Flower remedies. Of course, I can also offer a combination of therapies tailored to your circumstances - depending on what you need. I will always work with you and explore ways with you to help your body cope with pain and stress.
Areas of particular interest in my practice are back, shoulder and neck problems including sciatica, frozen shoulder, lumbar pain as well as long term chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, stress and anxiety.

About Lisa
I’ve always been interested in how the body holds experience — physically, emotionally, and energetically — and how gentle support can help restore balance over time. For more than 20 years, I’ve worked with people seeking relief from pain, stress, fatigue, and the quieter ways life can take its toll.

What continues to draw me to this work is its simplicity: listening carefully, noticing patterns, and offering support that respects each person as a whole — not just a collection of symptoms.

My path into this work
My journey into Bowen Therapy and wellbeing work grew from both professional training and lived experience. Over the years, I’ve seen how health challenges, stress, and life changes can affect people in deeply individual ways — often showing up in the body long before we fully recognise them.

My approach is shaped not only by training and experience, but by a deep respect for how life and health challenges can affect us all.

This understanding informs how I work: gently, attentively, and without rushing the process.
How I work with clients
I believe the body has its own capacity to rebalance when given the right conditions. My role is to support that process — creating space, offering calm guidance, and responding to what your body and nervous system are communicating.

I also see this work as complementary. Bowen Therapy can sit alongside conventional medical care and is never intended to replace advice or treatment from your GP or healthcare professionals.

Clients often tell me they appreciate being listened to, not hurried, and supported at a pace that feels right for them.
A blend of skills and experience
Alongside Bowen Therapy and Reiki, I’m trained in Wellbeing & Resilience Coaching, which informs how I listen, ask questions, and support clients in making sense of what they’re experiencing.

Sometimes this support is woven quietly into a Bowen session. At other times, clients choose a more integrated approach, combining hands-on work with space for reflection and practical insight.
However it shows up, the intention is the same: helping you feel more at ease, supported, and grounded.
What matters to me
I value:
-
calm, respectful support
-
clear boundaries and ethical practice
-
working collaboratively rather than “fixing”
-
helping people feel more at home in their bodies

Many clients come to me through word of mouth and return over the years as life changes — which I see as a privilege and a responsibility.
If you’re considering working together
You don’t need to have everything worked out before you get in touch. Whether you’re curious, unsure, or simply feeling that something needs attention, you’re welcome to ask a question or book a session when it feels right.

There’s no pressure — just a steady, supportive place to begin.
